To celebrate the Group's 30th anniversary, Casablanca-home, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University's Institute of Textiles and Clothing, and Cotton Incorporated co-hosted the inaugural "Bedding Design Competition" organized by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University's Institute of Textiles and Clothing. The organizers hope to promote practical knowledge among local students through this opportunity, providing them with direct involvement in product design and a platform to showcase their capabilities. This enriches their personal resumes, enhances competitiveness, and signifies the continuity of the fashion, textile, and design industries as they work together with young people towards a sustainable future.

 

As an industry-leading brand, Casablanca-home has always pursued and insisted on technological improvement and product innovation. This competition saw Casablanca-home allocate resources to students, enhancing the enthusiasm of talents in Hong Kong's home textile industry. The competition held student presentation and award ceremony on March 31, 2023, and announced six winning students, including the champion (Sin Siu Shan), first runner-up (Wong Mei Wai), second runner-up (Chan Hong Ni), and three merit awards. The champion will receive a HKD 20,000 prize and have their work launched across all stores and online in October. The first runner-up will receive a HKD 10,000 prize, the second runner-up HKD 8,000, and each merit award winner HKD 1,000.

 

Coinciding with Casablanca-home's 30th anniversary, the theme of this event is "Leading Sleep Technology into a Sustainable New Era," aligning with the brand's philosophy of environmental protection. It promotes the concept of green living and leverages big data to support sleep product development. Using professional technology or materials, it aims to develop proprietary materials or technologies for industry use, making the brand and quality experts in sleep technology.
